Since 1996 Günışığı Kitaplığı published over two hundred fifty titles from Turkish and world children-young adult literature which are categorized in four groups based on different needs and approaches to reading:First Books for ages 3-8, Children’s Books for ages 8- 12, Young Adults’ Books for ages 12 and up. The unique collection Bridge Books, brings readers together with master authors of Turkish literature.With this special collection Günışığı won the 2010 Memet Fuat Publishing Award. Our aim is to bring children and adults together at the joy of reading; making them feel that reading is an enriching and joyful experience. ON8, the new taboo-breaking sub-brand of Günışığı Kitaplığı, is publishing distinctive books from contemporary world literature for those who are interested in young adult literature.
